POPI rash guards are used for light coverage in warm to extreme summer temperatures for several water-sports including surfing, water survival training, snorkelling, free-diving, wakeboarding, body surfing, body boarding, windsurfing, kite surfing, or simply for stand-up paddle surfing and swimming. They are used to protect the wearer against rashes caused by abrasion, or by sunburn from extended exposure to the sun. POPI rash guards are exclusively handmade, using carefully picked materials for full body comfort. All rash guards are double layered to prevent transparency. POPI swimwear is primarily made to offer full body comfort while wearing a wetsuit. Its construction is designed to avoid the rash caused by bulky seems of regular swimwear. Its cut and material make sure everything stays in its place whether used as an addition under your wetsuit or simply on its own. POPI care Care for your POPI! .dry your swimwear in the shade (as the damaging rays of the sun will deteriorate the fabric quicker) .avoid excessive chlorine (as high degrees of any chemical will result in bleaching of the colour and will destroy the fabric and garment stitching) .avoid contact with sunscreens, perfume, deodorant, tanning products and excessive perspiration .do not iron or tumble dry your swimwear .always hand-wash cold .allow your swimwear to dry naturally when drying outside, do not hang in direct sunlight .alternate your swimsuits! Lycra is a memory yarn, therefore your swimwear will need 24 hours to dry and go back to its original shape. This will stop your swimwear from bagging and stretching.
